30 Day Beach Body Fitness Challenge

Onto some toning and trimming for summer.   Brandon and Austin are both joining me for this one and admittedly...adds some incentive to get it done.  We are on day 6 so far and going strong.  The first few days were killer AB exercises (or maybe they are just killer for my out of shape body).  I like the challenges. ...they are fairly quick lived and can squeeze them in.  I already feel stronger and maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but also see some minor changes.  Looking forward to seeing the results after the 30 days.  I downloaded the app as well so depending where I am in the program may start up an overlapping challenge just to keep things fresh and to challenge myself further.  I would really like to be able to wear a bikini on our cruise that happens in 133 days!  So lots of time to work out the details so to speak.  I did take a starting photo as I have from the very very very beginning so have a comparison!

I yi yi!

Hasn't been a great week for diet.  It started with a weekend in Invermere....then a funeral, then two days of conference,  Friday....snacks and drinks in the deck, then off to Brewster for dinner....Saturday is Brent ' s food fest and then Colleen's party on Sunday. 

Wow!  I am surprised that I haven't gained 10 pounds!  Thinking back over the week....I have managed to stay on track on a couple of the off days....Monday and Thursday.  

Gotta get back to the good behavior . .I guess I am allowed a few days of indulgence now and then.   Good news that I have been very conscientious of trying to eat decent and watch my potions.  Pleased to day that I didn't go off the rails though and start chowing down on cookies!  Yeah for me.

Woot Woot!

Yowsers!I am really really doing it!  I have been feeling pretty good and dropping the weight.  Some weeks are certainly better than others.  Sometimes I will only have a small win of under a half pound over a two week period but will then get a huge gain (or loss in my case) over the next week. 

So close to my goal of 143 so now am just 10 little pounds away.

Look at those gorgeous feet! Finally made iy under 160 and with a vengence.

Feeling pretty happy about my weigh in this week.  Played it good over my birthday and Thanksgiving and ran a couple of calorie deficits this week. 

I am now within 15 pounds if my 143 pound goal.  I think that once I hit that mark if I choose to drop to the 135 to 138 mark, I will just take it slow.  Maintenance calories at 143 should pop up to about 1750 calories so if run the 1400 to 1500 range should be able to get ultimately to that weight.

Correction correction

My scale seems to lie to me....I hopped on and it said 159.8 which would be sooooo awesome but then grabbed my camera and it showed 160.8....oh well....next weigh in will break the 160 mark.  So total loss is recorded at 77.2 pounds which means that I am only 17.8 pounds from my goal/ideal weight and 22.8 from my stretch goal.  Woot woot!

Evidence!

So here it is!  This marks a loss of 76.6 pounds lost so far. 

I am so proud of myself for doing this and how I have developed some great habits and a love of food and cooking.  This is realy sustainable and I am kicking myself for not doung it sooner. 

Yesterday, I spent the majority of my afternoon cleaning out things from my closet and made a lot of room for new. I had some really mixed feelings as I felt really good but was also saying goodbye to some of my suits and dresses that I really loved.  I think part of me is a bit worried that I going to get fat again so struggle with ditching the old goods. Its just all part of the process I guess.

It has been awile....but still going strong

Check out my before & after. ..hopefully the pics show up in  that order :).  The rolly polly photo was taken on Oct 14th 2012 with the thinner gal photo taken in my office on Sept 4th 2013.  To date I am down 72.5 pounds and I think that 23 more should do it.  I am contemplating doing some toning but am just happy to have energy amd be down to a size 8/10 right now.
